Billings, MT – The Billings Bulls, proud members of the North American 3 Hockey League, announced today the tender signings for the 2016 – 2017 Season. A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NA3HL team and that NA3HL team only.

Kyle Mueller – Forward  “Kyle is someone who I am really excited to have be a part of our team. We started the process of recruiting Kyle last year. Kyle came out for a visit to Billings and participated in our practices and got to see what it means to be a Bull.” – Coach Richardson on Kyle Mueller.

Max Moler – Forward  “Max is someone who over the process of recruiting, showed he has the character we are looking for in our locker room. As soon as his season ended in Wisconsin, Max came out and toured Billings. Max is someone I am excited to have be a part of our team” – Coach Richardson on Max Moler.

Bailey Emery – Forward  “Bailey is not just a great hockey player, but he comes from a great family. He is someone who is proven that he knows what it takes to win. His high school team this year made the MN state tournament and Bailey proved again he is ready to contribute at the junior level.” – Coach Richardson on Bailey Emery.

Christian Winther – Forward  “Christian is someone who we started recruiting over a year ago. It can sometimes take that long, but he is worth the wait. Christian is a big, strong hard working forward. He is spending his summer preparing for the grind of the junior hockey schedule.” – Coach Richardson on Christian Winther.

Peyton Tofte – Forward  “For me it is great to be able to sign Montana born players. Peyton is no exception when it comes to this. His coach was able to implement the same beliefs we have in Billings to his teams in Utah which will make this a smooth transition into our culture in Billings.” – Coach Richardson on Cody Thomson.

Denis Kozev – Defense  “Last season we kind of broke the barrier for Israel hockey with drafting Roy Aharonovich and it proved to be a good relationship. Denis is coming to us from the National team. He has played on some of the biggest stages in hockey and has been coached by someone I have a great amount of respect for in Derek Eisler. Denis comes to us ready to play junior hockey.” – Coach Richardson on Denis Kozev.

Matt Newberger – Forward  “Matt is someone I have known for some time now and have been keeping tabs on Matt for the last 2 years. A California player thru and thru. He is skilled, has good size, knows how to use it, and is a smart hockey player.” – Coach Richardson on Matt Newberger.

Ryan Brown – Defense  “Ryan is another player and has a family that I have gotten to know over time. Ryan is another California born player, who older brother has come up the junior ranks and is now playing college hockey. Ryan is up for the challenge in playing in the toughest division in the NA3HL.” – Coach Richardson on Ryan Brown.

Gage Thompson – Forward  “Gage just has so much upside it is great. Gage is someone who we started recruiting right after our season ended. He is a hard working North Dakota player, but has some great skill and vision to complement how hard he works.” – Coach Richardson on Gage Thompson

Kody Goodwin – Defense  “Kody is another player coming to us from Utah where he played for Billings Bulls alumni Daniel Chang. He is excited to join our team. Kody is such a raw player and I am really looking forward to working with him to polish up his craft. He is a great player for us to bring in.” – Coach Richardson on Kody Goodwin

Chayo Goodwin – Goalie  “Chayo is someone we are excited about. He is on the radar already for a lot of teams in the NAHL. He is just a gifted goalie and comes to us ready to stop the puck. We are excited to add a goalie of Chayo’s caliber to our roster.” – Coach Richardson on Chayo Goodwin.
